IMMERSIVE ACTIVITITIES & TOURS
IMMERSE YOURSELF COMPLETELY!
In addition to our classes, each week we organize a combination of at least 10 hours of immersive activities included in the cost of the both the Group and Private Class Programs! These are taught in Spanish (except half of the intercambio) and designed to help strengthen the student’s Spanish speaking and listening skills. The activities usually start at 1 PM and our ever-changing schedule ensures that every week offers new adventures and opportunities to enhance your learning and cultural immersion.
Each week brings a fresh lineup of engaging experiences, including a language workshop to boost your Spanish skills, a guided tour to explore local attractions, a creative art activity, a surprise extra activity for added excitement, and two hours of language exchange to practice with native speakers. As a newer school, we are always open to hearing your interests, and seek to develop programs that interest you.
If you are interested in just the 10 hours of Immersive Activities, the cost is currently $1200MXN.

OTHER TEACHER-LED PROGRAMS:
In addition to these city tours, we also offer other forms of activities and tours as well that are listed in our public calendar. Any teacher-led program at the school will be taught in Spanish. Usually these have a cost or ask for a donation, however when possible students will receive a discount.
At the moment, we are offering weekend Urban Exploration tours once a month, which offer unique experiences based in the idea of showing students and visitors to the city how to move through the city to other areas using urban transit, get to know places few tourists see, and experience life as many Oaxacan do.
Some of these experiences include:
Sunday in the National Park (travel by bus to a national park near the city, where you can hike in the forest, go on ziplines, buy Sunday comida and ice cream in the park as other local Mexican families do, take a ride in a motortaxi, and return to town)
Sunday Visit to the Mercado de Tlacolula (learn how to take a bus or collectivo from the centro to Tlacolula, get a mini-tour of the market, which dates back to before the arrival of the Spanish)
We look forward to being able to show you a different side to Oaxaca, one filled with history, culture, arts, and food, that also gives students insight into a truer side of Oaxaca, and opens the door to seeing more of the cultural whole of what is Oaxaca today.
