ONLINE SPECIALTY SPANISH CLASSES
Our specialty classes focus on using themes to help students improve their Spanish language abilities. Themes vary from art & literature to politics or medicine, but each theme provides students new ways of approaching and learning the language whether for pleasure or for professional purposes.
Below we’ve listed some of our themed classes. Some are structured like short-courses; others fit better with extended study. We are happy to organize short- or long-term study for students online based on these themes, and we can design specialty classes that fit your needs.
We have many teachers who collaborate with us at the school who can teach these specialized classes, and if we don’t have someone specifically who can do it, we also know many people in the city who are more than capable, so we can search for other guest teachers that would be better prepared to teach the themes you’d like want to study. Just let us know what they are!
INCLUSIVE, QUEER, & OTHER IDIOMATIC SPANISH
These online options are based in part on our standing weekly workshop, Playful Spanish.

LATIN AMERICAN LITERATURE & POETRY
Here are some of the themes we offer:

We can run these most of these classes as a Crash-Course though we would likely be only able to accommodate that for short-story formats and poetry. For more immersive study given the nature of literature, we would recommend hourly classes. Talk to us about your interests and let us know!

MEDICAL SPANISH
Our medical Spanish classes focus on terminology for doctors, nurses, and other healthcare practitioners, psychology, sociology, social work, etc., who work with Spanish-speaking patients, and include role-playing scenarios.
ONLINE SPECIALTY CLASSES PRICE:
ONE-ON-ONE CLASSES: $420MXN/HR or a PACKET or Short Courses of 5 hours: $1900MXN
TWO-ON-ONE CLASSES: $540MXN/HR; or PACKETS of 5 hours for $2350MXN; (price is for both students, if paid separately $1200MXN.
PRIVATE GROUP RATES: $250MXN/HR per student for groups of more than 2 students; Packets of 5 hours for $1100MXN .
